Valley Brewer is a homebrew club for Te Awa Kairangi / Lower Hutt and the wider Wellington region. We brew in sheds, kitchens, and garages, and we meet on the third Thursday of the month to taste each other's beer and talk shop.

No egos, no gatekeeping. Whether you're a complete beginner who's never mashed in or a seasoned brewer chasing a competition medal, you're our kind of weird. Membership is free.

What members get

• Monthly tastings: bring at least a litre of your homebrew and pour it for the room.
• A shared, searchable recipe library built from members' own brews.
• Brewing challenges, social gatherings, and an online chat for the day-to-day.
• Invitation-only Barrel Club and Commercial Club for those who get deeper in.
