Parrotdog Presents: Fifteen Years In Flight

Parrotdog turns fifteen, and they’re marking it with a free music and beer festival at the Lyall Bay brewery on Saturday 1 August. Doors from 1pm, live bands from 6pm, running through to 1am. No tickets and no door charge, which for a five-band lineup is a good deal by any measure.

To celebrate 15 years of Parrotdog, we’re throwing a music and beer festival at our Lyall Bay brewery on Saturday 1 August. Plus, a huge line-up of the freshest Parrotdog beer pouring all day, delicious food from local food vendors, and a very special 15th Anniversary Limited Release beer to mark the occasion.

The draw for brewers is the anniversary limited release plus whatever else they’ve put on tap fresh at the brewery. Beer poured metres from where it was made, on the brewery’s own gear, is about as good a reference sample as you get. Fifteen years is also a decent innings for a Wellington independent, and turning up is a reasonable way to say so.
